Why
Millions of people start learning Chinese and many give up. Not for lack of interest, but because they spend months memorising characters without being able to read anything they actually want to read.
We believe the pleasure of understanding a story is the best engine for learning a language. We want reading in Chinese to be possible from the first week, and every story to bring you closer to the next level.

We write every story with the words you already know and add only a few new ones. You understand almost everything and learn from context, just like you did as a child.
A memory model decides when each word should come back. A quality check reviews every story before it reaches you: vocabulary, length, grammar and naturalness.
